...i have this urge to submerge myself in verbs and adjectives...relative…to this life i live...subliminal messages delivered through action words...just a hop, skip & a jump from what it is I deserve...disturbing perhaps that’s it’s so close yet out of my reach…deep plunge into the aquamarine lines across the notebook paper…I write…the urge to submerge myself in words can sometimes be deadly…so I come up for air…briefly…in despair…no life vest needed…when knee deep in it…poetry spit…legitimately living it…every verb, noun, & metaphor… i implore you to explore…my words.

my kid is better than your kid…she just asked about Stevie Wonder’s “I Wish” song (she remembers it from Happy Feet & just heard it on TV)…she said she loves the song & needs to know who sings it…lol…so i told her his name is Stevie Wonder, he’s blind, AND plays piano/keyboard…of course the blind part and him being able to play an instrument intrigued her even more…so i pulled his pics up on online…she inquired about his shades…his beads in his hair…and a lot of other shit…then she tells me, “i like him…he’s cool…he makes awesome music!”….so yeah im pretty sure my kid is better than your kid!!!
